“I will set out and go back to my father and say to him, ‘ Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you…’ “   (Luke 15:18  NIV)

This story in Luke 15 of the prodigal or “lost” son as some versions describe him,  the son had made choices in his life that squandered his inheritance, his well-being, and threatened to destroy him.  “Coming to his senses…” (Lk. 15:17, NIV) he decided to go back to his father. He knew that his father was a compassionate man, and at the very least would let him work for a living as a servant. He decided to go home.

The road home.  What an emotionally packed image!  Our concepts of “home” all vary as much as those of us who are considering this thought.  For some it may be an association with many warm, joy-filled memories; for others, it may be quite the opposite. Perhaps you also are at a crossroads in your life, where you are making some much needed changes; or perhaps you aren’t at that particular point in your life.  However, we are all on a road to SOMEWHERE.  Life is a journey, taking us on a road that has some ultimate destination. Understanding where that ultimate destination, that “home” is, is the most important detail we need to know as we embark or proceed down that road.

This website is dedicated to address issues and challenges we face on this road, this journey of life.  We are all familiar with the challenges: loss, suffering, doubt, disappointment, betrayal, confusion. How do we face these challenges? Will the choices we make take us home, or lead us elsewhere? Let us seek the One who knows the way home.

Will you join us on this journey?
